VINNIE POLITAN
has launched a new talk show on Sirius radio channel 110. It's
called "Me and VInnie" and airs from 6-9am weekdays. Vinnie
leaves Court TV where he co-anchored "Bloom and
Politan," a 2-hour live morning show. Previously, Vinnie worked as an
anchor/reporter for Central Florida News 13 in Orlando. He is a communications graduate of Stanford University and earned his JD at Seton Hall School of
Law. |

DREW SPEIER
has begun his new job as the main co-anchor at WBRE
in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Shortly before arriving in Wilkes-Barre,
he won 3 Telly Awards and an Emmy nomination for his work at WFIE-TV in Evansville,
Indiana where he anchored and reported. Drew is
a journalism/political science graduate of Texas State University. |

MARI ALVAREZ
moves to Austin as a reporter and fill-in anchor for the Belo
powerhouse station KVUE. She currently co-anchors the 5, 6, and 10pm newscasts at KTSM-TV, the NBC
station in El Paso. Mari graduated from Vanderbilt University in
Nashville, where she double majored in history and political science.

WADDELL signs on as a television
reporter at WWTV in Cadillac, MI. She leaves TruTV
(formerly Court TV's) where she wrote and reported for their website. She is a graduate of the
University of Michigan, where she earned degrees in both English and
communication studies. |

TOM WAIT
has moved to Detroit to report for WXYZ-TV. He leaves KCTV in Kansas City. Previously, he worked
for
News 12
Bronx, where he was weekend anchor and reporter. Tom is a
graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and earned a masters
degree in journalism from New York University. |

SHELLY RIBANDO
becomes main co-anchor for KOAT-TV, the Hearst station in
Albuquerque. She will co-anchor the 5, 6 and 10pm newscasts.
Previously, Shelly anchored
the 10pm newscast for WOFL-TV, the Fox station in Orlando.
She also reported a consumer segment called "Does it Work?" She graduated from Siena College with
a degree
in English. |

MIKE
GONZALEZ is morning co-anchor
for KXLY-TV
in Spokane. Mike leaves
WOWT-TV in Omaha, Nebraska where he anchored weekend mornings
and reported during the week. Mike is a graduate of North Carolina State University and did
graduate work in journalism at the University of Missouri. He is a
former minor league baseball player, having pitched for the Allentown
Ambassadors. |

SANCHEZ reports for
WISH-TV
in Indianapolis. Phil previously worked for News 12
New Jersey, a 24-hour cable news operation in the New York market.
He graduated from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY with a
degree in sociology. |

Previously she hosted "One Week to Save your Marriage" on TLC.
Robi is a contributing
editor to Conde Nast's Cookie Magazine and a regular guest on

Show, Larry King Live, and Nancy Grace. She has appeared on Oprah, The
View, Regis and Kelly, Bill O'Reilly, Hannity and Colmes and many other national programs, She began her television career as a
reporter for the NBC station in Elmira, NY. She is a graduate of
Cedar Crest College, earned a masters in social work from the University
of Pennsylvania and holds a doctorate clinical psychology. |

YBETH BRUZUAL
has moved to nightside anchor
for Central Florida News 13 in Orlando. Previously
she anchored dayside. Ybeth
anchors in English, but as events warrant, also anchors in Spanish.
She has also reported in both English and Spanish.
Ybeth is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, majoring in
international relations and comparative politics. |

ANTHONY JOHNSON
reports for WABC-TV out of the New Jersey bureau.
Anthony spent much of his career as a popular reporter at New York's
all-news radio station WINS. The RTNDA honored him with a
regional Edward R. Murrow Award for his special report on the history of
African-Americans in New York City. Prior to his career in
broadcasting, Anthony worked in Washington D.C. as head of Media Relations
for U.S. Congressman John Lewis of Atlanta. Anthony is a graduate of Clark-Atlanta
University, where he majored in broadcast management. |

as weekend evening co-anchor and weekday reporter at WPXI-TV
in Pittsburgh. He moved from reporter and fill-in anchor at WXYZ-TV in
Detroit. Previously, Gordon worked as weekend and morning anchor at WKBN-TV
in Youngstown. He's an honors graduate of Central Michigan University,
where he majored in broadcast/cinematic arts. |

assignment reporter and fill-in anchor. Elizabeth is a magna cum laude, phi
beta kappa graduate of Wellesley College in Massachusetts, where she
majored in political science and English. She is fluent in Mandarin
Chinese and Spanish. |

is chief meteorologist for News
12 New Jersey, a 24-hour cable news operation in the New York
market. Previously Dave was morning, noon and afternoon
meteorologist for News 12 Westchester. He produces his own forecasts and
creates the graphics. Dave earned his B.A. in meteorology at Kean
University in Union, New Jersey and holds an AMS Television Seal of
Approval. |
